  • 1. Open Access Statement

        Guangdong Journal of Animal and Veterinary Science flipped to an open access journal in 2025. All articles published in the journal from Issue 1 of 2025 onward are open access works, which are available on the journal's official website immediately after publication and are permanently available to all users free of charge.

        Please note that articles published before 2025 are not open access. The copyright of these articles belongs to the editorial office of the journal, and all rights are reserved by the editorial office. Users who require these articles may access them through platforms such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) on a paid basis.

     

    2. Open Access License

        This journal uses the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, which allows all users to copy and distribute the open access articles published in the journal in any media and format, provided that they follow the terms of this license, including:

        When copying and distributing the open access articles published in the journal, users must provide appropriate attribution, include a link to the license, and indicate if any changes have been made to the original article.      Attribution may be done in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal endorses the user or their use. The articles cannot be used for commercial purposes. If the articles are remixed, transformed, or built upon, the modified articles cannot be distributed.     3. Article Copyright

         At the time of submission, authors are required to sign and submit a Copyright Transfer Agreement. Once an article is accepted for publication, its full copyright shall be automatically transferred to the editorial office of the journal worldwide, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, compilation, and any other forms of publication. The editorial office will be the copyright holder of the article.

        The journal provides a one-time payment to the author as remuneration for the copyright transfer, which covers the copyright of all forms of the article, such as print, CD-ROM, and online versions.

    After the article is published in the journal, the author may use the article under the following circumstances:

    (1) Applying for patents;

    (2) Using the article in accordance with the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license agreement, such as for non-commercial academic exchanges, reports, or presentations;

    (3) Other activities permitted and authorized by the editorial office.

     

    4. Author Self-Archiving

        Authors are allowed to store all versions of their articles in an institutional or other repository of their choice. In the repository, it should be indicated that the article was originally published in the Guangdong Journal of Animal and Veterinary Science.
