Abstract: This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the yak industry in Nyingchi City，delving into the challenges it confronts and proposing strategic measures for its advancement. The article highlights the pivotal role of the yak industry within the economic，cultural，and social fabric of Nyingchi City，tracing the evolution of the sector. It focuses on analyzing the scale and distribution of yak farming，as well as the structure of the industrial chain. In response to issues such as natural environmental constraints，lagging farming techniques，and slow market and brand development that the yak industry encounters during its growth，the paper proposes development recommendations including enhancing farming technology，strengthening industrial chain integration， promoting breed improvement，and reinforcing brand building. Additionally，the article offers a perspective on the future development prospects of the yak industry in Nyingchi City.
