Abstract: Guangdong Province is a large province of waterfowl breeding and consumption. Affected by the COVID??19，Guangdong’s waterfowl industry has faced severe challenges. This paper is aiming at the problems of the waterfowl industry in Guangdong，such as lack of scientific planning，insufficient investment in research and development，small industrial scale and environmental constraints lack of development and utilization of variety resources and high costs for disease prevention and control. This paper analyzes the current situation of waterfowl industry and proposes to improve the technical system of waterfowl industry. optimize the industrial layout，cultivate leading enterprises，improve the added value of products and strengthen the construction of epidemic prevention system. create a good environment，improve the market competitiveness and provide reference for the sustainable and healthy development of waterfowl industry.
